Marcella Dresdale
Marcella Dresdale received her Bachelor's degree in History from Brown University in 2010. Previously, she attended Convent of the Sacred Heart, a girls’ private college preparatory school in Greenwich, Connecticut. Marcella Dresdale graduated from the preparatory school in 2006 as the class Salutatorian. As a varsity athlete, she played field hockey for the school and was an Advanced Placement and National Merit Scholar. Marcella Dresdale was presented at the 2006 Greenwich Junior League Debutante Cotillion. She also spent a great deal of her time raising funds and developing numerous events for the underprivileged children attending the S.A.S.H. program; those included attended movie premieres and the Big Apple Circus at Lincoln Center. An advocate for children, Marcella Dresdale volunteers for Graham Windham, a nonprofit child welfare agency, and the Port Chester Carver Center, which serves underprivileged youth. Marcella Dresdale is a founding member of the Barat Foundation, a student-run organization that serves children in the community. She remains in touch with her school friends as member of the Convent of the Sacred Heart and the Brown University alumnae. In her leisure time, Marcella Dresdale enjoys traveling, art, and yoga. A patron of the arts, Marcella Dresdale contributes to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
