Susan Settenbrino
Susan Settenbrino received the Humanitarian Award from the ALEH Foundation in 2009, and was a Woman of the Year Award nominee in 2010. In 2009, Settenbrino was also the recipient of the Honor Proclamation from David I. Weprin, then a council member of the 23rd District, as well as an Honor Citation from Martin J. Golden, the New York State Senator of the 22nd Senate District. Susan Settenbrino has served as a Co-Chair on the Subcommittees of Judicial Ethics, and Ethics & Professionalism for the American Bar Association. As a professional, she holds memberships in the New Jersey State Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the New York State Lawyer Trial Association, Inc. Susan Settenbrino also makes fiscal donation to the Chai Lifeline, American Thyroid Association, and the Aleh Foundation. majoring with honors in business, management and finance at Brooklyn College, New York. Susan Settenbrino graduated from Temple University Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she earned her Juris Doctor. Her law career began when Susan Settenbrino accepted the position as an Associate Attorney, working with the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD). Settenbrino also practiced law with the Kings County District Attorney’s Office as an Assistant District Trial Attorney. Eventually, she also started her own law practice, Susan D. Settenbrino P.C. Attorney At Law, specializing in family law.
