Sam Nastat
Executive Sam Nastat has led a publicly traded oil company since 2006. In addition to his experience with this company, Sam Nastat also serves as president for two other similar companies, one being Wharton Resources Corporation since its reverse merger with his oil firm in 2007. Mr. Nastat has also worked as Vice President of Project Development and Finance for Code America Investments, LLC, since 1994. In his executive position with the private finance firm, his primary responsibilities include financing various exploration projects in Wyoming, Texas, and Alaska.
Along with several positions held previously, including roles as Director for Soho Resources Corporation, Sam Nastat has a combined 20 years of experience in natural resources and oil field project development. In this time, he has managed every aspect of crude oil sales, specifically focusing on the negotiation of oil exploration programs and development of strategic financial planning for various resource developments.
Mr. Nastat has been instrumental in developing the Alberta Bakken project that was acquired by FOX Resources in Canada. Mr. Nastat has accepted the position of President with FOX. The company paid $9 million dollars and issued 27 million shares for Mr Nastat's project. Early in his career, Sam Nastat served as a consultant for Talon Trading Ltd., a purchaser of Middle Eastern crude oil and supplier of oil field equipment. Also in the field of natural resources, Mr. Nastat also worked with Tule Canyon Mine, the largest placer gold operation in the country. The operational experience he gained from the Gold Point, Nevada-based company has proven invaluable to his career.
Currently, Sam Nastat resides in Mississauga, Canada, where he enjoys martial arts. With years of training from master Joey de Los Reyes, Mr. Nastat now teaches Filipino Kali, a martial art form featuring straight-edge weapons.
