I try very hard to find a way to express my ideas to outside world. I studied architecture, because I found the program filled with creativity and self expression interesting, and also fulfilled with technical engineering. It was always a challenge to do nice things with unique touch, special form and useful technology. As an architect I had and will have a lot of opportunities to do so. My work in Design sector is unique. I try to accomplish as many branches of design as I can. In my opinion design is a complex mix of colours, lights, shapes, form, tradition, technology and psychology. Sometimes the knowing of other knowledge is needed, so the evolution of the designer never ends. In my work I try to join theory and praxis, architecture with visual design, interior design with psychology and all together. Looking for simple and useful solutions I was introduced to world of graphic creation. With volunteer work in different projects of cultural and development meaning (ex. Creative lessons) I showed touch for expanding cultural feeling and design enthusiasm . I made numerous logotypes, corporate identities, visual elements for different applications, and won an audience award in Magdalena – international creative communication festival 2005, for a logotype for primary school Trbovlje. The award meant great approval. By renovating old houses I learned how to combine old with new, value and respect of tradition. Interior design became a practise. Designing in graphic branch with corporate identities goes on, and architectural objects and interior design becomes more perfective. With installing petrol service stations into the landscape plots continues with building numerous automated petrol stations named “Petra” in Slovenia. Petrol stations with my authorship were designed for company En plus d.o.o. and trademark 24/7. In year 2008 there are 8 petrol stations of this kind planned to built in Slovenia. The product of thinking rationally and optimising is a diploma in December 2007, titled Minimal automated service station, that combines three main virtues: minimalism, design and technology perfection and innovativeness. With this work I won in June 2008 The international research award for best diploma work organised by Trimo company. Now I am registered at the Ministry of culture Slovenia as self-employed cultural worker in Slovenia. My personal responsibility now is to be as creative as possible, and find as many interesting ways to perform design and practice art. Talent to design and create is a privilege that I was given when I was born and I would like to make the most of it. Interpretation of design can be expressed in many ways. My way is combining both theory and praxis, and taking into consideration all aspects of affections connected to the object of design. Looking in many ways and seeing invisible and unseen is the key.
