Patrick Rhode knows a few things about managing external affairs from every angle . Patrick Rhode is the United States Vice President for Corporate Affairs for Cintra Developments, which specializes in transportation infrastructure. Rhode deals with the company’s external affairs, which entails issues management and image controls in a cross functional organization. 
Patrick Rhode has some two decades worth of high profile experiences during times of uncertainty and unprecedented difficulty that have made him one of the most sought-after advisors by both the public and private sector. 
Rhode has been the Senior Advisor for Communications to the NASA Administrator for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, helping to create public educational efforts to demonstrate awareness of NASA’s vision and the importance to the lives of private citizens and industry alike. In addition, Rhode addressed issues and recommended organizational transparency that ultimately led to greater public credibility in regards to the high profile events of Astronaut Lisa Nowak’s legal proceedings.
Patrick Rhode joined the private sector previously as Director of Homeland Security and Intelligence for Bearing Point. He helped the company retain its competitive edge by ensuring that it was not overwhelmed by competitor encroachment through various strategic external affairs tactics. 
Previously, from 2001 to 2006, Patrick Rhode was deeply involved with the federal government: with perhaps one of his more high profile position being the Chief of Staff to two FEMA Directors for the Federal Emergency Management Agency under the then newly created Department of Homeland Security in the aftermath of 9/11, which is a position appointed by the President of the United States. Rhode helped lead the efforts to consolidate components of the 20 different branches that are incorporated in Homeland Security. In addition, Patrick Rhode spent several very difficult months playing a vital role supplying information and support to the White House to help the executive branch and state and local partners make decisions and overcome tremendous difficulties during the early days of Hurricane Katrina - to ultimately provide government backed care for hundreds of thousands of evacuees throughout more than 40 states in the country, which had never been attempted in the modern history of the United States in the wake of disaster. 
Patrick Rhode also worked for the United States Small Business Administration as Associate Administrator for Communications - one of FEMA's strongest partners during times of Presidential disaster. Furthermore, he served as the Technology Administration Communications Director and White House Liaison for the United States Department of Commerce. He has also worked for the Executive Office of the President of the White House, and the United States Presidential Inaugural Committee. 
Patrick Rhode was also hand selected to manage National Advance Operations as a Deputy throughout the early primaries through the general election for the successful George W. Bush for President Campaign. Responsibilities included operational candidate movements and public event message implementation throughout the United States. Rhode also helped manage the re-count operational components for Bush/Cheney during the unprecedented Presidential election of 2000. 

Patrick Rhode received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Arkansas (Fayetteville).
