Nathan Uldricks

Nathan Uldricks is a Senior Consultant in the strategy and organization division of Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., a management and technology consulting firm serving government clients. Currently, Mr. Uldricks is advising an organization within the Department of Defense on the development of a strategic plan to help them meet with their future goals and, in the long run, to ensure that the outfit is better prepared for unpredictable events.

Over the course of his work with Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., Nathan Uldricks has advised several elite federal government organizations on resolutions to issues of strategic, operational, and organizational importance. He helped develop a 5-year strategy for a White House High Priority Performance Goal to enable the global accessibility of health and benefits records for members of the armed services, veterans, and their families. Mr. Uldricks also managed the development of a 5-year strategic plan responsible for the direction of a 60,000 military and civilian employees and the allocation of a $12 billion budget covering 166 military bases around the globe. In addition, Mr. Uldricks designed and facilitated a long-term, scenario-based exercise to analyze and assess current geopolitical trends that might prove to be a source of risk to the agency in the future.

Nathan Uldricks also directed the organizational design of an interagency governance structure at the Department of Defense despite a heavily charged political atmosphere. This design led to stronger and more transparent decision-making by leadership. Mr. Uldricks is also responsible for the reengineering and standardization of the Department of Defense’s business processes, which play a key role in planning projects, facilitating installation operations, and managing military construction globally. Mr. Uldricks previously led an effort to institute an U.S. Air Force-wide transformation initiative. In undertaking this project, he analyzed potential effects on stakeholders in order to develop a secure strategy for ensuring their buy-in to the initiative.

In addition to his work with Booz Allen Hamilton, Nathan Uldricks has served as a pro bono consultant for nonprofit organizations via Compass. Mr. Uldricks currently acts as the Alumnus Adviser of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity chapter at The George Washington University, and President of the Board of Directors of the Purdue University Engineering Alumni Association.
