Morgan Muchnick

A renowned political writer, Morgan Muchnick recently worked at SRA International, Inc., as a Homeland Security Analyst. In this position, it was Mr. Muchnick’s responsibility to collaborate with the Department of Homeland Security’s State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial Government Coordinating Council (SLTTGCC) in order to preserve and protect the federal government’s Critical Infrastructure and Key Resource owners (CIKR).

Prior to joining SRA International, Morgan Muchnick was employed by Turner Government and Public Affairs in Washington, D.C. Here, Mr. Muchnick served as a Consultant and Director of Government Affairs for three years. During this time, Morgan Muchnick represented and advocated on behalf of clients at industry and congressional events.

Additionally, Morgan Muchnick has advocated on behalf of members of the American Institute of Aeronautics & Astronautics, Inc. (AIAA), when he served the organization as a Public Policy Manager from 2006 to 2008.

In addition to his work with these organizations, Morgan Muchnick has a speech-writing background. Most significantly, Mr. Muchnick drafted all speeches and communications for the Ambassador of Israel, Daniel Ayalon. Mr. Muchnick’s speeches were forwarded to the President of the United States, Members of Congress, prominent Cabinet members, and political think tanks.

Morgan Muchnick attended Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, where he received a Masters in Public Policy and National Security. Morgan Muchnick also earned a Bachelor of Arts in History at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he graduated magna cum laude. With a GPA of 3.8, Mr. Muchnick was part of the Golden Key International Honour Society and was on the dean’s list.

As a result of his expertise within the political arena, Morgan Muchnick has appeared on MSNBC’s former political discussion program, “America’s Voices.” He also has published a number of works, including opinion pieces with UpsidePolitics.com and a chapter on NASA funding for the American Association for Advancement of Science.
