Mary Candler Fulweiler
Editorial proofreader Mary Candler Fulweiler possesses a high level of computer literacy and superb communications skills. She works as a Proofreader for Double Checkers Editing, proofreading websites, articles, dissertations, newsletters, and novels, among other texts. Previously, she served as a Grant Officer for the Illinois Arts Council, where she helped applicants through the process and reviewed grant applications. Mary Candler Fulweiler also proofread grant proposals at the Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Florida. She played Aspatia in The Maid’s Tragedy at The Academy for Classical Acting at the Shakespeare Theatre Company, where she also earned an MFA in Classical Acting. Earlier, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music and Theater from Duke University.
Among Mary Candler Fulweiler’s other skills are her proficiency in Italian, horseback riding, and piano and mandolin. She enjoys reading books such as Ayn Rand’s The Fountainhead in her spare time.
