Matt Gohd
Matt Gohd is a financial professional who advises professional investors on market strategies he has learned after more than 35 years of experience in the options market. Currently, Mr. Gohd is the Senior Principal responsible for tactical strategies at Revere Securities Corporation, a financial services firm with offices throughout the United States.
Before joining Revere Securities Corporation, Mr. Gohd served as Principal Managing Director at Pali Capital. He also served on the Executive Committee of the board of eDiets.com, Iconic Brands, and Onstage Entertainment. Before the company was sold in 2001, Matt Gohd was also Chairman of the investment banking boutique Bluestone Capital. He has developed a national following after several prescient assessments of the financial markets, and he often provides a contrarian point of view on CNBC and Fox Business.
While primarily working with professional investors and individual active market participants, Matt Gohd has advised high-ranking officials in the government. Mr. Gohd served as an advisor to the Chairman of the Congressional Committee, which investigated the stock market crash of 1987. He also advised a past President and Vice President of the United States on financial issues and played a key role in the White House environmental summit.
Matt Gohd attended California State University, Hayward, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Statistics and Accounting. He currently holds his Series 7, 24, 63, and Investment Banking (79) licenses.
Mr. Gohd is a founding Board Member of the Starlight Foundation of New York, a non-profit organization that works to lift the spirits of seriously ill children and their loved ones. In his spare time, Matt Gohd enjoys movies and traveling as well as biking, golfing, and playing tennis.
