Lance Reinherz

An active physician, Dr. Lance Reinherz practices at Temecula Valley Cardiology, Inc., in Murrieta and Bonsall, California. Dr. Lance Reinherz is the Medical Director of the office’s echocardiography laboratory. He is proficient in several areas, including heart failure management, consultation, echocardiogram readings, and cholesterol monitoring. He is board certified in internal medicine, echocardiography, and cardiovascular disease.

A member of the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Reinherz dedicates himself to patient welfare and has contributed to several research projects. He served as Principal Investigator for the Improve HF (Heart Failure) study and participated in the Revive and Adhere projects. He won three awards for these endeavors. Additionally, Dr. Lance Reinherz has three articles to his credit, two of them dealing with diabetes. He also presented at several cardiology conferences before entering practice.

A frequent lecturer, Dr. Lance Reinherz has taught courses in advanced cardiac life support and medical transcription. Currently, he leads instructional sessions about coping with heart failure as part of Southwest Healthcare System’s public lectures, and he hosts Heart Failure Awareness Week at his offices. Dr. Reinherz has obtained educational credits in laboratory directorship, as well as x-ray supervision and operation.

Dr. Lance Reinherz’s post-secondary education began at the University of California at Irvine, where he earned a BS in Biological Sciences. He next received a physician and surgeon degree at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, in Mexico, and then obtained a Fifth Pathway Program Certificate from New York Medical College in Valhalla. Next, he entered the New York Medical College location in Staten Island, where he was Chief Resident in internal medicine. Dr. Reinherz concluded his formal education at the University of the State of New York and St. Vincent’s Hospital in Manhattan.
