Possessing a decade of real estate experience, Henry Rodriguez currently presides as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Woodmere Capital Group in Sarasota, Florida. Rodriguez provides direction and oversight to the Woodmere family of companies, which includes Woodmere Equity Solutions, Woodmere Capital Management, and Woodmere Realty Advisors. Over the course of 10 years, Henry Rodriguez has focused his attention on distressed properties throughout Florida, closing deals on more than 2,000 residential units and 1 million square feet of commercial space.
Henry Rodriguez, an active member of the Sarasota community, has consistently held positions within the state government and local nonprofit organizations. Over the last 10 years, Rodriguez has served on the board of the United Way of Sarasota County, the Gulf Coast Community Foundation, and the Casey Key Foundation. He also extends support to several other local charities, including the Sarasota Chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
While Governor Charlie Crist held office in the late 2000s, Henry Rodriguez was appointed to chair a transition team for the Florida Office of Trade, Tourism, and Economic Development and to sit on the board of directors for Enterprise Florida. More recently, Henry Rodriguez became the only board member to earn reappointment to Enterprise Florida. He was also named the Commissioner to the Sarasota-Manatee Airport Authority and received a seat on the board of directors of Space Florida.
Henry Rodriguez started his career as President of his first business, Sensormatic Del Caribe, in the early 1990s. He started the business at 26 and sold it by the time he was 30. He then launched LDC Telecommunications. In just three years, Rodriguez built the startup into a successful business with more than 35,000 small business customers, subsequently selling the enterprise to LDI International and initiating his career in real estate.
