Lance Gooberman
Lance Gooberman, MD was educated in the New Jersey school system. He attended Finley University in Ohio and Rutgers University in New Jersey. Dr. Lance Gooberman took courses throughout America and Mexico before earning his Doctor of Medicine in 1978. In 2003, Dr. Lance Gooberman earned a Juris Doctor from Widener University’s School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware. After receiving his medical degree, Dr. Lance Gooberman completed an internship at Wilmington Medical Center in Wilmington, Delaware, and a residency in internal medicine at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. He then spent a year as an Emergency Room Physician in Voorhees, New Jersey, while building an internal medicine practice and consulting for the Cooper University Hospital Pain Center of the Department of Psychiatry. For over 30 years, Dr. Lance Gooberman has been engaged in private practice, first focusing on internal medicine, and then specializing in addiction and forensic addiction. In 1999, the American Society of Addiction Medicine awarded Dr. Lance Gooberman the designation of Fellow in recognition of his contributions to the field of addition medicine, and seven years later, the American College of Legal Medicine also named Dr. Lance Gooberman a Fellow. Since concentrating on addiction, Dr. Lance Gooberman has developed and patented methods of treating addiction using naltrexone and disulfiram pellets. Dr. Lance Gooberman brought this unique brand of treatment to his medical practices NaltrexZone, L.L.C., and Pellet Technologies, L.L.C., both located in Merchantville, New Jersey. Additionally, Dr. Lance Gooberman uses his medical and legal backgrounds to serve as an expert testifying on the disease of addiction and the effects of drugs and alcohol in the human body. Dr. Lance Gooberman has made numerous presentations at national and international medical conferences, and he has made several television appearances to discuss the disease and treatment of addiction. Since 1998, Dr. Lance Gooberman assists Widener University School of Law in teaching a class called Alcohol, Vehicles, and the Law. Throughout his career, Dr. Lance Gooberman has traveled to China, Australia, Germany, England, Lithuania, Portugal, Canada, Egypt, and throughout the United States to discuss his research in the addiction medicine field.
