King Ryan Events
With years of experience in hosting charity benefits, private parties, nightclub events, and awards-show after-parties, King Ryan Events is a major promoter of independent hip-hop entertainment functions. Clients of the company include Mary J. Blige, Ne-Yo, Lil Wayne, and Keyshia Cole. King Ryan Events also hosts two showcase series, the Urban Kings Hip Hop Music Showcase and iShowcase Music. In these events, undiscovered artists have the opportunity to gain media exposure and make connections with representatives from major labels.
To help developing artists gain exposure and build press kits, King Ryan Events includes many photographs on its website. The individual page for each photograph includes links to email, instant messaging, and direct link information, in addition to code for sharing the photograph in a social media outlet. The photographs are also displayed at a high enough resolution for use in printed materials. King Ryan Events encourages potential clients and established fans to get involved through their social media accounts on Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, and YouTube.
Beyond its work with promoting new talent, King Ryan Events founded iDonate Charity in 2011 with the mission to plan and coordinate events for charitable organizations. They have provided support for Angelwish.org, a nonprofit organization that offers assistance to children with chronic illnesses. Recently, King Ryan Events organized a post-Grammy Awards black-tie event hosted by hip-hop legend Sean “Diddy” Combs in support of Angelwish.org.
The production company's offices are located in Granada Hills, a San Fernando Valley suburb of Los Angeles.
