Joseph Frey III, Ph.D.

Possessing more than 30 years of experience as a licensed psychologist, Joseph Frey operates a private practice and provides psychological consultations to court trials, attorneys, and businesses. Often contacted for forensic consultations in court cases, Joseph Frey provides insight into domestic relation issues, court-ordered evaluations, visitation assessments, witness competency to stand trial, and sexual/physical abuse defense. He has contributed to businesses and corporations in management psychology and served as a consultant to federal facilities for security evaluations of new hires and unstable employees. In his private practice, he offers individual psychotherapy for adults, adolescents, and children in marital and family therapy.

Co-owner of Partners in Achievement, a tutoring company that has assisted over 1,500 students within the past 10 years, Joseph Frey leads his team in conducting more than basic tutoring services. Partners in Achievement has helped individuals and schools identify the sources that overwhelm and impede students’ education. As the Chief Executive Officer, Joseph Frey manages the general strategic direction of the company and assists the chief operations officer in daily oversight of the firm. He also helps conduct assessment interpretations to evaluate any learning deficiency areas. An affiliate with The Highlands Company, Mr. Frey uses The Highlands Ability Battery, a comprehensive test of career related skills, to help students discover potential college majors and careers.

An alumnus of Marquette University, Joseph Frey earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology before pursuing further educational and professional endeavors at the University of South Carolina. He graduated with his Master of Arts in Community Psychology with a focus on family counseling. He attended Georgia State University where he gained his doctorate in Clinical Psychology. He belongs to the American Board of Professional Psychology as a Diplomate in Clinical Psychology, and serves as a member of the American Psychological Association.

Aside from his career, Joseph Frey participates actively in his community. A long-time member of the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, he functions as a Sunday school teacher and served as the former President of Church Council. Additionally, Joseph Frey is a member of the West Lake Country Club. He supports the Evans Lions Club as a board member.
