Robert Morey
After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Covenant College and a Master of Divinity from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, Robert Morey founded New Life Bible Church in Pennsylvania. Functioning in many roles for the ministry, Robert Morey delivered sermons and speeches around the world at universities and churches, as well as on television and radio programs, obtaining fame and respect as a scholar in Christian apologetics, comparative religion, cults, the occult, theology, and philosophy.
Robert Morey helped to create the apologetic evangelical Christian ministry Faith Defenders, serving as its Executive Director from 1982 until today. A well-regarded organization, Faith Defenders offers advice to Christians on how to defend their beliefs and better understand their faith.
Through Faith Defenders's publishing arm, Christian Scholars Press, Robert Morey produces books (currently, he has more than 55 titles to his name), CDs, DVDs, and digital downloads. Robert Morey's most recent creations include books such as When Is It Right To Fight?, a Biblical take on pacifism; How To Keep Your Kids Drug Free, which focuses on how to use the Bible to protect children against drugs; and A Bible Handbook on Slander and Gossip. Among the new CDs released by Robert Morey are A Christian's Attitude Towards The State, which focuses on understanding a Christian's relationship to their secular government, and Doctrine of Hell.
Since the inception of Faith Defenders, Robert Morey has earned acclaim among other Christian institutions, theoreticians, and scholars. Faith Theological Seminary and Louisiana Baptist University have honored Robert Morey with additional post-doctorate degrees, the latter awarding him a Ph.D. in Islamic Studies.
