Javan Rowe
Javan Rowe is a graduate of Heidelberg University where he received his Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance. Following graduation, he began pursuing music by founding V.I.P.: Victorious in Praise Music Ministries, where his duties included lyricist, church contact, and sermon writer. After a few years involved in that ministry, his focus then turned to Christian writing which has been his primary ministry focus for seven years now.
Most recently, Javan has seen published the articles “A Ministry Based on the Proverbs" in The Christian Standard and "Three-Dimensional Faith" for The Lookout. Besides those and the monthly articles he posts on this site, Javan has also published poems and newspaper articles, written song lyrics for songs he has performed, and has even done script writing for his local church. He is currently seeking publication for a book he has written on spiritual warfare.
Javan’s ministry experience is as varied as his writing. He is a worship leader, soloist, and choir member at his local church, East Side Grace Brethren, in Blacklick, Ohio. He is also active in the Drama ministry where he acts and writes scenes. During his braver moments he sometimes helps out with the two-year old Sunday school class. At work, he organized a men’s group Bible study that has been meeting every week for a few years now.
A native of Ohio his whole life, he has lived in Alliance, Toledo, Tiffin, and Findlay. He currently lives in the Columbus area with his wife, son, and daughter.
