Professional Career
Frederick Achom's first business success was the sale of his consultancy and business development London agency to the London city firm EGC. Following the sales Achom invested heavily into the UK property and land market, making huge returns on investments during the property boom in noughties.
Rosemont Group is a private offshore holding company established by Frederick Achom in 2003 to invest private capital. The group invests in the consumer services and consumer goods industries, and its portfolio includes international fashion brands, Italian kitchens, marketing firms, real estate, restaurant management and a boutique vineyard.
The Rosemont Group's business interests are spread all over the world, including America, Australia, Nigeria, Bahamas, Qatar, UK and France. The company's main offices are in London and Geneva. The company is estimated to be worth in the region of $40 million.
The company is also a major shareholder in UK based Bordeaux Wine Company. BWC is an online wine store that retails First Growth Bordeaux wines as well as offering investment advice to speculators alike.
Rosemont Group and Frederick Achom recently launched a new chain of brasseries called Bennett Brasserie & Oyster Bar, located in the hip Battersea area of London. The Bennett Brasserie was launched in partnership with well known restauranteur Ray Duhane, and the brasserie's lead chef is the famous Sebastian Ryder.
Accolades
Frederick Achom has recently been included in the UK's Black Power List 2011. It's a list put together by leading global investment banking and securities firm JP Morgan. The list showcases 100 black men and women who have achieved great things in fields such as politics, law, business, and finance.
In 2010 Achom was included in the London Evening Standard London's 1000 Most Influential People list. He was acknowledged for his contribution to the city's lifestyle and nightlife scene.
