Dr. Yaser Bassel
Dr. Yaser Bassel attended the University of Florida, where he graduated with a B.S. in Microbiology. Dr. Bassel subsequently attained his M.D. from the University of South Florida College of Medicine, and after graduating with numerous honors he completed both his surgical and urology residencies at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Licensed by the State of Florida, Dr. Yaser Bassel is a specialist in urology. A consummate professional, he is a member of the Southeastern Section of the American Urological Association. Dr. Bassel brings a philosophy of care and compassion to his practice, and is dedicated to his patients’ well-being.
A member of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, Dr. Bassel is committed to finding the best possible treatments for his patients, and strives to assist them in quickly recovering their optimal health. Also known as ‘keyhole’ surgery, Laparoendoscopic surgery refers to procedures that are minimally invasive and use very small incisions to reduce scarring and speed the pace of recovery.
Dr. Yaser Bassel works to educate himself on the newest developments in medicine and is a Diplomate, or doctor with advanced training in his specialty, of the American Board of Urology. From his private practice, Dr. Bassel treats adrenal cancer, hematuria, erectile dysfunction, and bladder disorders, among other conditions. Additionally, Dr. Bassel conducts CAT Scans and performs vasectomies, always with his customary skill and care.
