Dennis Wilenchik
In addition to maintaining a successful legal practice as a partner in the Phoenix, Arizona-based law firm of Wilenchik & Bartness, P.C., Dennis Wilenchik actively contributes his time and legal expertise to his fellow attorneys. Dennis Wilenchik lectures and writes on trial practice and legal issues concerning construction defect for the local Bar association and professional organizations in Maricopa County. He is the author of "Understanding the Economic Loss Rule," which appeared in the Arizona Builder Magazine in 2005, and he has contributed two chapters to the legal volume Toxic Mold Litigation, which was published in 2005. In 1989, Dennis Wilenchik served as the Senior Editor for the legal treatise, “Evidence in America.” Dennis Wilenchik works as a columnist for the Arizona Trial Lawyers Magazine and has authored pieces on commercial litigation since 1984. He has also held membership on the Arizona Bar Journal Editorial Board. Dennis Wilenchik has presented seminars entitled “Advanced Expert Witness Deposition Tactics,” “Keys to Successful Pretrial Preparation,” “Advanced Trial Advocacy in Arizona,” “Civil Trial from Start to Finish: A Practical Approach to Trying a Civil Case in Arizona,” and “Ninth Annual Public Legal Seminar: Civil Trial Practice Do's and Don'ts” to the legal community of Phoenix. Dennis Wilenchik has also taught at the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and for the Maricopa County Bar Association. From 1981 to 1992, Dennis Wilenchik maintained the position of President of the Young Lawyers Division of the Maricopa County Bar Association. In the past, he has served as Secretary for the Civil Rules and Practice Committee and Chairman of the Civil Trial Practice Committee for the State Bar of Arizona. During his tenure in the Maricopa County Bar Association Dennis Wilenchik has sat on the County Bar Professionalism Committee, Continuing Legal Education Committee, and the County Bar Bench/Bar Committee.
