Chenoa Smith
Advertising expert and entrepreneur Chenoa Smith has grown her most recent company, Viva Networks, to serve over 2,500 customers in 2009 and 2010. The company, which Chenoa Smith founded in 2008, develops software licenses for large companies in Silicon Valley and beyond and represents her 15th startup. Before establishing Viva Networks, Chenoa Smith created and managed applications with companies and organizations such as Coca-Cola, Discover Card, Lincoln-Mercury, Microsoft Corporation, Nobel Foundation, Island/Def Jam Records, Universal Studios, and the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences. Over the years, Chenoa Smith has earned a reputation for excellence in marketing research, product development, profiling, and advertising. Since beginning her career as a Production Assistant on HBO’s Dennis Miller Live, Chenoa Smith has handled more than $110 million worth of transactions with various partners and major corporations. Away from work, Chenoa Smith spends time developing her creative talents. She is fond of many artistic pursuits, including writing, art, music, and design. Also interested in spirituality and philosophy, Chenoa Smith enjoys exploring the practices of Zazen Buddhism and Tantra. An admirer of the Indian spiritual and political leader Mahatma Gandhi, Chenoa Smith also enjoys the works and philosophies of Paramahansa Yogananda, author of the classic Autobiography of a Yogi. A graduate of the University of Southern California, where she earned a degree in cinema and television production, Chenoa Smith enjoys giving back to her community with contributions to the school.
