After succeeding in directorial and managerial roles at such prominent pharmaceutical firms as Ciba-Geigy, Solvay, and Noven, Terrell Herring joined inVentiv Health, Inc., as a National Business Director in 1999. Headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts, inVentiv partners with health care companies throughout the world, providing expertise in product development, launch, and commercialization. During Herring’s tenure, inVentiv achieved significant increases in profits. Following a promotion to the position of Vice President and General Manager of Sales, Terrell Herring was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of inVentiv Commercial Services, LLC, in 2002. In 2007, he became President and Chief Operating Officer of inVentiv Health.

On the heels of his admirable achievements at inVentiv Health, Mission Pharmacal Company offered Terrell Herring the position of President of Commercial Operations in January 2010. A manufacturer of high-quality pharmaceutical products, Mission Pharmacal is a leading source for arthritis and muscle pain relievers, drugs that combat parasitic and bacterial infections, medicines that prevent kidney stone recurrence, and prenatal nutritional supplements.

Terrell Herring earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. He went on to study pharmacology both at Fairleigh Dickinson University and at Pacific Western University, where he earned an MBA. Herring also holds a graduate certificate in project design from Mercer University School of Engineering, as well as a graduate certificate in international marketing from Duke University and London Business School. In 2007 and 2008, Terrell Herring was designated one of the 100 most inspiring people by PharmaVOICE magazine. Herring lives with his wife and children in San Antonio, Texas.
