Ronald L. Discher
Longtime dental practitioner Ronald L. Discher, DDS, remains an active presence in his local community of Springfield, Ohio, where he has operated his private practice for nearly four decades. An avid golfer, Dr. Discher frequently participates in a number of events at the Aley United Methodist Church, where he works with other members of his church community to facilitate fundraising events. Additionally, Ronald L. Discher also supports the Clark County Junior Fair program, donates to such organizations as the Boy Scouts of America, and previously offered a children’s dental health week service, during which he visited elementary schools and informed students about practical matters of oral hygiene.
Ronald L. Discher, DDS, earned his graduate degree from Ohio State University, after pursuing three years of education in the field of microbiology. Upon his graduation from the dental school, Dr. Discher accepted a full time position as a clinical instructor at the College of Dentistry. After a short time, he moved with his wife and newborn daughter to Springfield, Ohio, where he began his dental practice. Today, nearly 40 years later, Dr. Discher and his staff continue to provide his patients with courteous and considerate care providing all forms of general dental treatment to include fillings, crowns, dentures, and root canals. Same-day emergency treatment is the norm. Although he thought he would end his career in dentistry returning to the dental school to teach, which he did part time in the mid 1990s, continuing his dental practice became his passion and continues so today.
