Reliable Credit Association, Inc., an Oregon corporation, and Reliable Credit Association, Inc. (WA), a Washington corporation, are indepenently owned and operated consumer finance companies providing credit to qualified borrowers by originating personal loans and purchasing retail installment contracts from primarily automobile dealers. Founded in 1958, Reliable Credit Association, Inc., has Oregon branch locations in Milwaukie, Salem, Eugene, and Medford, as well as a branch in Meridian, Idaho. Reliable Credit Association, Inc., (WA) has offices in Federal Way, Lynnwood, and Spokane.
Despite the financial crisis that began in 2008, Reliable Credit remained successful because it continued to focus on the importance of evaluating an applicant's ability to pay, as well as pricing appropriately for risk. Throughout this economic downturn, Reliable Credit continued to lend and did so without the need for employee layoffs. Reliable Credit will not sacrifice its integrity for profit. The staff try to provide "Fast Friendly Service and Integrity Assured" to customers and dealers in a manner consistent with how they themselves wish to be treated.
Recognizing the role and responsibility of a successful company in our society, Reliable Credit dedicates its philanthropic efforts to multiple charities, including the Children's Cancer Association, Children's Center, the Dougy Center, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Livestrong, Mercy Corps, American Red Cross, the Oregon Food Bank, and many more. Reliable also sponsors the AFSA Education Foundation, which aims to educate consumers about finance and the lending process.
