Mireille Zappulla
Mireille Zappulla has dedicated her career to banking. She has proven herself in myriad ways at various companies since she began working. Well-versed in the creation, distribution, and management of commercial loans, she also provides excellent leadership with a team-driven approach in restructuring environments. Mireille Zappulla has held titles including Consultant, Business Manager, and Vice President and Portfolio Manager. She presently operates as Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager at Wachovia Bank, a division of Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. in Naples, Florida. There, she takes full responsibility for a portfolio of businesses that yield between $15 and $750 million each year. Mireille Zappulla handles all customer concerns and issues, generates new business, plans sales, maximizes profits, ensures balance sheet growth, and manages expenses. In addition, she maintains community ties with organizations such as the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce, which plays an important part in the promotion of Naples’ business and professional community. She also affiliates with the EDC, which promotes technological innovation and spurs entrepreneurship, supporting industry cluster development and knowledge networks; and Leadership Collier, a Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce program that teaches local business leaders about the economic and social challenges that face the community. School has played a big part in Mireille Zappulla’s successful career, and she believes in ongoing education to keep her apprised of new developments in the field. To that end, she attends credit training programs and investor seminars and conferences at institutions including The New York Institute of Finance, David Jeffrey Associates, Inc., The Risk Management Association (formerly Robert Morris Associates), Chase Manhattan Bank, Duff & Phelps Co., and Bank of America Corporation (formerly Bank of Boston). Mireille Zappulla’s formal education took place in France and the U.S., and her degrees include a Diplôme d'Etudes Françaises from the Universite De Paris, Sorbonne-Paris IV; a Bachelor of Arts in International Business Administration from The American University of Paris; and an MBA in Finance from Ecole De Nationale Des Ponts Et Chaussees in Paris. In addition, Mireille Zappulla completed a Graduate Program in Negotiation and Dispute Resolution at Harvard Law School in 1991. Prior to taking on her position at Wachovia Bank, Mireille Zappulla gained experience at different companies in positions such as Senior Credit Analyst and Assistant Vice President and Relationship Manager.
