Mrs. Mireille Guiliano is best known as the author of the best-selling book “French Women Don’t Get Fat: The Secret of Eating for Pleasure,” and its follow-up, “French Women for all Seasons: A Year of Secrets, Recipes and Pleasure.” These two books written by Mrs. Guiliano both feature advice, memoirs, lifestyle tips and recipes. Much to the delight of Mireille Guiliano, her innovative book “French Women Don’t Get Fat” has been translated into over 40 languages and joined a host of other legendary titles a number one bestseller in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Publishers Weekly, and the Los Angeles Times. Recently, Hilary Swank bought the film rights to FWDGF and might star in the feature film. Now, Mrs. Guiliano is hard at work on a new book about women and business. Mireille Guiliano’s many other notable accomplishments aren’t quite as well known. Mireille Guiliano spent more than two decades at the wine and spirits company she founded, Clicquot, Inc. As the president and CEO of the New York, NY office, Mrs. Mireille Guiliano took the company by storm by rising to the top and being one of few women to achieve such a status in the industry. Mrs. Mireille Guiliano is highly regarded for her revival the Champagne Veuve Clicquot image and the growth of the company. Guiliano, who was Champagne Veuve Clicquot’s spokesperson, is credited with creating the marketing plan that ultimately made the 225-year-old establishment a true success. Mireille Guiliano was also a senior executive at LVMH (Moet Hennessy), a French holding company. These days, this French author and businesswoman divides her time between her homes in New York and France. Mrs. Mireille Guiliano enjoys life’s simple pleasures, including reading, writing, whipping up healthy yet flavorful meals in the kitchen, eating, watching movies, traveling, riding her bike, going swimming, and spending time with her husband Edward.
