Ian Lasics

An experienced user in PeopleSoft, Ian Lasics utilized the software to improve customer relationships and resource management at several major universities across the country. Ian Lasics enrolled in additional training to enhance his skills with various aspects of PeopleSoft, including Financial Aid, PeopleTools, and Business Process Design. A graduate of Indiana University Bloomington, he holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Public Administration from the institution. After graduating in 1997, Ian Lasics started at Accenture, Ltd. as a Business Analyst and Programmer, earning a promotion to Business Team Lead in 1999. During his three years with the company, Ian Lasics learned the intricacies of PeopleSoft and student ERP (enterprise resource planning), serving public and private clients such as the University of Michigan, the Virginia Department of Transportation, and the United Health Group.

In 2000, Ian Lasics joined the University of Minnesota as a Business Analyst, performing various testing and analyses of the institution’s business process. He received a promotion to Project Coordinator after one year on the job, assuming responsibility for oversight of all software development projects. While at the University of Minnesota, Ian Lasics became a member of the Higher Education User Group (HEUG), a global nonprofit organization comprised of colleges and universities that utilize Oracle products. An active contributor to the HEUG, Ian Lasics gave numerous presentations at annual conferences and served as an advisory group member and chair.

Ian Lasics leveraged his vast knowledge and expertise with project management and system analysis and took a Senior Sales Consultant position with the Oracle Corporation in 2005. Collaborating with clients, Ian Lasics develops a package of products and software specifically designed to meet the needs of their institutions.
