Pursuing a variety of charitable endeavors, Holly Keate strives to help those in need to improve their lives. A volunteer with The Anthony Robbins Foundation, Holly Keate mentors troubled youth, creates gift baskets for the organization’s International Basket Brigade, and works to improve the living conditions of prison inmates throughout California. In order to better assist children and families who are underserved in Southern California, Holly Keate became a volunteer member at the Dream Center, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit group that enhances the lives of inner-city families by providing educational resources, job training, and emotional support. The center provides those in need with the essentials of living, such as food, shelter, and clothing. Recruiting other young people to participate in community initiatives, Holly Keate became a Young Ambassador for Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s trust program. As a volunteer at a nursing home on behalf of the trust program, Holly Keate increased awareness for the program, coordinated focus groups, and contributed her talent at public events. Holly Keate currently writes screenplays with prominent filmmakers in the Los Angeles area and plans to produce her own films in the very near future. Before embarking on a career in the movie industry, Holly Keate attended Western Career College in Sacramento, California, earning a radiology license. Holly Keate believes in staying fit and healthy by competing in half-marathons and The San Francisco Marathon. She also climbed Half Dome, Yosemite National Park’s icon, 8,800 feet above sea level and the most prominent part in the park. When she is not developing her screenplays or working with charities, Holly Keate spends time at home listening to all types of music, playing board games, and reading books written by authors such as J.R.R Tolkien, Robert Fulghum, and Wayne W. Dyer. She also enjoys traveling and sampling new wines and different types of food.
