Erin Maupin

Erin Maupin commands an extensive career in nonprofit work and community programs administration. Prior to passing the Bar, Erin Maupin spent the previous several years working toward her Juris Doctor and developing her expertise through legal, judicial, and legislative intern/externships and graduate training programs. She balanced her studies and training with involvement in charitable groups.

Erin Maupin’s professional work with nonprofits began while she was an undergraduate at Arizona State University. Prior to graduating summa cum laude, in the top 11 percent, with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs and Administration and Nonprofit Management in 2007 from ASU, Maupin began operating as the Director of Community Programs for Maricopa County Animal Care & Control. In this role, she trained and coordinated some 400 volunteers and community service workers who served at the municipal animal shelter. She also handled development of website content, press releases, and liability waivers while also frequently speaking on behalf of the shelter to media outlets.
While enrolled as an undergraduate, Erin Maupin also completed her public administration certification and held an executive position with the ASU Community Service Coalition.

Shortly after stepping down from her position at Maricopa County Animal Care & Control, Erin Maupin began her studies at law school. Maupin also completed a legal internship with the North American Center for Transborder Studies and a judicial externship with federal judge Stephen M. McNamee and the United States District Court of Arizona. She followed these experiences with involvement in a Summer Associate program through Tiffany & Bosco, P.A., of Phoenix and a Prosecutor Clinic with the City of Phoenix Prosecutor’s Office. Currently, Erin Maupin actively participates in such organizations as the André House of Hospitality and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
