In the New York City metropolitan area, business professional Dwain Carryl offers much support to the local community in terms of promotion and philanthropy. Dwain Carryl currently serves on the board of several non-profit organizations in New York City. Of particular note, Dwain Carryl supports Odyssey House, a non-profit organization that provides housing for the elderly, as well as a halfway house for people with substance abuse problems in the New York City metropolitan area. At Odyssey House, Dwain Carryl attends many of the organization’s events to assist in promoting their cause and raising funds, and ran in the organization’s 5K race in 2010 to further raise funds.

Alongside these philanthropic ventures, Dwain Carryl supports his Ivy League alma maters. Initially, Dwain Carryl attended Harvard University, where he served on the football team for four years as a cornerback, and joined The Phoenix – S K Club over the course of his collegiate career. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts and starting his career in the financial sector, Dwain Carryl returned to college, this time at the Yale School of Management to earn a Master of Business Administration. Today, Dwain Carryl serves on both the Harvard and Yale Clubs of New York City. Furthermore, Dwain Carryl works as Treasurer of the Deshaun Hill and Harvard Stephens Scholarship, a memorial scholarship named after two of his friends who perished in a car crash in 1997.

Currently, Dwain Carryl is an Analyst at GoldenTree Asset Management, a multi strategy hedge fund based in Manhattan. Previously, Dwain Carryl worked for several investment firms in sell-side research, including three years as a Vice President for brokerage firm Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. and a year at investment bank Banc of America Securities, LLC. Dwain Carryl also served as an Analyst at equities research firm Sidoti & Company, LLC. At present, Dwain Carryl resides in Norwalk, Connecticut.
