David Gotterup
As owner of a private mortgage company, David Gotterup deals with challenging situations every day. In his position, Gotterup oversees 45 staff members, and speaks to numerous clients. His daily tasks involve branch sales, business development, credit analysis, and customer support. David Gotterup focuses on clients’ needs, working to determine the right mortgage solution for the situation. David Gotterup and his staff members strive to help families with financial difficulties to stay in their homes and to enhance their quality of life by lowering monthly mortgage payments. In addition to private home owners, David Gotterup counsels high net worth individuals and corporate clients regarding their credit statuses and borrowing needs. Educated at SUNY College at Oneonta, Gotterup successfully pursued his academic career, graduating magna cum laude with a final grade point average of 3.6 and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Since that time, David Gotterup followed his interest in finance into mortgage banking, where he seeks to improve the lives of clients through appropriate home loan solutions. In addition, David Gotterup serves as a member of three professional organizations: America's Community Bankers Council, the Credit Research Foundation, and the American Association of Bank Directors. In his spare time, David Gotterup enjoys hiking, hunting, and football. A believer in the value of contributing to the local area, David Gotterup volunteers at the Center for Urban Community Services and donates to Have a Heart Children's Cancer Society and St. Jude Roman Catholic Church.
