Brian K Waite

A respected Chaplain, Brian K. Waite serves as an Exchange Officer to the Canadian Forces through the United States Navy Chaplain Corps. In this capacity, Mr. Waite primarily serves as a liaison to the Royal Canadian Navy. The Chaplain Corps consists of commissioned naval officers who are also ordained clergy. They uphold the Chaplain Corps’ mission of promoting well-being among service members in spiritual, religious, and personal matters.

Additionally, Chaplain Corps members such as Brian K. Waite provide ministry and support for those of all religious beliefs, as well as care for members of the Marines and Navy. The Chaplain Corps also promotes free exercise of religion, ranging from Christianity to Buddhism to Islam to even those with no religious beliefs whatsoever. Possessing a Bachelor of Arts in Bible Studies and a Master of Divinity in Biblical Languages, Mr. Waite leverages his education toward this position in caring for all.

In addition to serving as a Chaplain, Brian K. Waite is also a Lieutenant Commander. He has completed tours in both the Marine Corps and the Navy. He served in the 3rd Marine Division in Okinawa, Japan, and the 2nd Marine Division in Camp Lejeune, most notably with the 3rd Battalion/2nd Marines during combat operations in Iraq. Lieutenant Commander Brian K. Waite also spent a year in combat operations in Afghanistan with II Marine Expeditionary Brigade. His tours also include Fleet Operational Ministry Center in Norfolk, Virginia; Naval Submarine Squadron Two in Groton, Connecticut; and Naval Submarine Support Command in Norfolk Virginia.

In addition to his role as a Chaplain, Brian K. Waite holds a dedication to his community. He supports Catholic Charities and helps widows and orphans of deceased soldiers. He has supported the Salvation Army with its holiday basket program and cleaned the Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia. Additionally, Mr. Waite also assisted in the clean-up efforts of Dead Man’s Island in Halifax, a historical burial site with 188 casualties from the War of 1812. In his free time, he enjoys running, working out, and reading.
