Andrew Berg
A resident of Roslyn, New York, Andrew Berg holds responsibilities as National Sales Manager with RG Barry Corporation’s discount division. Mr. Berg has worked for the Ohio-based accessory products firm since 1984, initially serving as Salesperson and earning promotion to Sales Director. Since stepping into his current position, he has helped grow the firm’s discount division by a factor of eight. Mr. Berg’s responsibilities extend to salesmanship for several national chains, including T.J.Maxx, Big Lots, and Ross.
Andrew Berg’s company was established in 1947, introducing soft, washable slippers with foam soles to the country. The firm gained prominence in the late 1980s, pursuing focused holiday television advertising strategies for its Dearfoams warm-up boots. In 1997, the company achieved nationwide prominence as the Soft Lines Vendor of the Year for Wal-Mart Stores International. With this diversified product line, RG Barry is poised to extend its commercial reach significantly.
Andrew Berg has additional professional experience in the Roslyn, New York, area as a racehorse stable owner for a period of 15 years. Active in his community, Andrew Berg supports a number of nonprofit organizations, including the Wounded Warrior Project, Goodwill Industries International, Inc., and the Humane Society of the United States.
