Amaechi Dubem Okwuosa

Possessing two decades of legal experience, Amaechi Dubem Okwuosa provides services in a wide range of corporate practice areas, including maritime, finance, intellectual property, and litigation. A member of the International and Nigerian Bar Associations, Amaechi Dubem Okwuosa laid the foundation for his legal career at Anambra State University of Technology (now Nnamdi Azikiwe University) and the Nigerian Law School, earning Bachelor’s degrees in Law from each institution. During this time, he provided financial assistance to schoolmates in need. Following graduation, he worked with the National Youth Service Corps as a Legal Advisor before establishing his career as a Partner with Dubem Okwuosa & Co. Legal Practitioners. In 1994, he accepted a position as the Senior Legal Officer for the Nigerian Shippers’ Council, functioning in this capacity for two years before joining Ofianyi Chambers.

While building a successful legal career, Amaechi Dubem Okwuosa has been involved with a vast range of charitable work. Holding a Doctor of Divinity (HC) and international awards, he presides as over the New Bethel Christian Centre (NBCC) in Ilford, Great Britain. He is a member or trustee to a number of non-governmental organization (NGOs) in Nigeria. He is also a member of Public Relations Consultants Agency United Kingdom. As the spiritual head of NBCC, he oversees its promotion of Christian values in an interdenominational setting. Working with people in need from around the world, Amaechi Dubem Okwuosa and the organization have facilitated training and educational programs for dozens of people, distributed supplies in foreign counties, and assisted in the construction of several churches. In recognition of his ongoing service, he received the Grand Order of Peace Pursuit award from the International Fellowship of Reconciliation.
