Alberto Franco Quantek
Alberto Franco is an accomplished investment professional responsible for many of the successes of Quantek Frontier in the mid-2000s.
Alberto Franco studied finance at Yale University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts before entering the financial industry. Upon the completion of his studies, Mr. Franco distinguished himself at Salomon Brothers and also at Bankers Trust, where he oversaw a team of 250 finance professionals working in emerging-market derivatives.
From 2006 until 2009, Alberto Franco worked at Quantek Frontier. In his role with the firm, Alberto Franco was instrumental in developing Quantek Frontier’s Frontier LatAM Multi-Strategy fund. The Frontier LatAM Multi-Strategy fund won a number of honors during Mr. Franco’s tenure, including the Hedge Fund Association’s award, and possessed one of the most consistently positive rates of return in its class.
Alberto Franco has authored numerous articles on emerging markets and is a former member of Peru’s Davis Cup tennis team.
