Walter Wolanin
Walter Wolanin, owner-operator of a barber shop/beauty salon in Brookfield, Ohio, participates in a wide variety of professional, civic, and political organizations. He also supports various and diverse charitable and philanthropic organizations, including American Red Cross, Goodwill Industries International, The Salvation Army, and Warren Family Mission. As a businessman, Mr. Wolanin became a self-made millionaire through several salon-related businesses, including his current business, Family Cuts Barber Shop and Beauty Salon. Mr. Wolanin learned the tools of the barber’s trade at Akron Barber College and studied welding at New Castle County Vocational Technical School District. Prior to working as an independent barber and shop owner, Mr. Wolanin worked as a Building Material Associate at The Home Depot, Inc. Today, he devotes his time to church activities and Bible studies as well as political causes related to the defense of personal liberty. A self-identified American Tea Party member, Mr. Wolanin supports various other related causes, including the National Rifle Association and the Trumbull County Campaign for Liberty. In his free time, Walter Wolanin enjoys reading books by his favorite authors, such as Kevin Trudeau, Stephen King, and Sylvia Brown, as well as fishing and hunting publications and books dealing with history, politics, and religion. Walter Wolanin frequently volunteers at local homeless shelters and serves on the Brookfield Township Volunteer Fire Department.
