Vincent Manwill
Throughout his life and career, Albuquerque, New Mexico, resident Vincent Manwill has maintained involvement in a wide array of vocational, educational, and personal endeavors. A self-employed handyman since 2002, Mr. Manwill provides a variety of services, from home repairs to landscaping, for clients in and around the greater Albuquerque metropolitan region. He especially enjoys working with elderly customers who have difficulty with repair and yard chores. With more than 25 years of experience in a variety of settings, Mr. Manwill has also worked as an auto mechanic, hearing specialist, and retail manager. His retail employers over the years include Kinko’s (now FedEx Kinko’s) and Old America Stores.
Studying at the University of New Mexico and Central New Mexico Community College, Mr. Manwill also attended high school in the area, where he proved a standout on both the varsity track and field and basketball teams. Indeed, Vincent Manwill won the 1982 New Mexico State Championship for Boys’ Pole Vault, Class AAA, garnering recognition for himself and his school.
A sports enthusiast to this day, Mr. Manwill can often be found in The Pit, cheering on the University of New Mexico Lobos men’s basketball team, a rising NCAA Division I powerhouse. An ardent NFL fan as well, Vincent Manwill counts the San Francisco 49ers, the Washington Redskins, the Indianapolis Colts, and the Pittsburgh Steelers among his favorite professional teams. In addition, Mr. Manwill has coached a local youth soccer team, stays fit through exercise and running, and goes skiing whenever possible. Vincent Manwill’s other interests include home repair, walking his dog, attending church, and reading history books.
