Todd Zachs
A founding partner and Otolaryngologist at Associated Ear, Nose & Throat Specialists in West Hartford, Connecticut, Dr. Todd Zachs brings more than two decades of experience and a firm commitment to patient wellbeing to his professional endeavors. Along with a medical staff that includes another board-certified otolaryngologist and audiologists, Dr. Todd Zachs offers in-office consultations, nonsurgical hearing restoration, sinus relief, reconstructive facial surgery, and other procedures at his small private practice.
Depending on the severity of a patient’s condition, Dr. Zachs performs minor surgeries in the office and major surgeries at a nearby hospital. Seeing patients over a range of ages, from small children to senior citizens, he treats ailments not limited to tinnitus; thyroid health; and infections of the ear, sinuses, and throat. As one of two partners in charge of the practice, Todd Zachs, MD, also fulfills a variety of administrative duties that ensure smooth daily operation.
Before cofounding Associated Ear, Nose & Throat Specialists in 1990, Dr. Zachs obtained his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington. He subsequently undertook an internship in general surgery at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. He returned to the University of Connecticut to complete his residency in otolaryngology. Committed to professional development, he maintains affiliation with the American Academy of Otolaryngology and the Connecticut ENT Society.
At Saint Francis, Todd Zachs, MD, has additionally served as a volunteer doctor at the institution’s Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic. Enjoying the mastery of martial arts in his free time, he holds the rank of black belt in both judo and tae kwon do.
