Todd Senigar
Todd Senigar currently functions as Privacy Office Analyst IV at University of California San Francisco (UCSF) where he coordinates with all of the campus departments to verify that their Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) policies are up to date with state and federal regulations. Mr. Senigar also provides departments with the necessary resources to implement new protocols by analyzing changes in protocol and designing new implementation plans accordingly. Additionally, Todd Senigar understands the importance of communicating effectively with external and internal customers.
Prior to his position as a Privacy Office Analyst IV at UCSF, Todd Senigar monitored the university's Information Technology network as Programmer and Analyst II-III. With over 15,000 users, these high traffic levels required constant attention to security breaches. He therefore collaborated with senior management to maximize the Network Operations Center's day-to-day functionality and drafted summary reports that assessed the network's health. Because of its significant size, Todd Senigar ensured that all security upgrades followed consistent cycles in order to minimize network and systems flow of information disruptions.
Outside the office, Todd Senigar manages EAO Academy, a nonprofit special education institution in the San Francisco Bay Area. He volunteers his time at the academy in order to assist children with developmental difficulties. A strong believer in giving back to the community, he regularly donates to other community enhancement organizations. He also enjoys flag football, reading and writing.
