Thomas McNaull
An alumnus of the University of Florida, Mr. Thomas E. McNaull has built a solid career in the health administration field since obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Thomas E. McNaull commenced his professional career as an Assistant Controller for the Humana Hospital of Palm Beaches, a part of the Hospital Corporation of America (HCA). Consistently proving his talent and leadership, Thomas E. McNaull secured roles of increasing responsibility and importance, eventually taking a position as Chief Financial Officer of Atlanta, Georgia’s Rockdale County Hospital. Thomas E. McNaull also played a key role in establishing Coral Reef General Hospital in Miami, Florida.
In his next endeavor, Thomas E. McNaull served as the Vice President of the Charter Medical Corporation (CMC). During his tenure with CMC, Thomas E. McNaull also served as the President of Charter Information Systems. Thomas E. McNaull concurrently pursued his Master’s degree from the Emory University Goizueta Business School, which he earned in 1984.
After eight years with CMC, Thomas E. McNaull shifted his professional focus to consultative services. As the CEO of American MedTrust (AMT Group, Inc.), Thomas E. McNaull applied his managerial expertise to the operational and financial resuscitation of a number of struggling hospitals. Under Thomas E. McNaull’s keen management, American MedTrust exceeded revenues of $100 million. During his 14 years with CMC, Thomas E. McNaull completed the Owner/President Management Program (OPM) at Harvard University, to help fine-tune his leadership skills.
In 2007, Thomas E. McNaull channeled his knowledge into the founding of MedStar Partners, LLC, which targets acute care hospitals. As the CEO, Thomas E. McNaull utilizes his extensive experience to develop and implement business strategies to improve operations at underperforming hospitals.
An active part of the health administration community, Thomas E. McNaull is a member of organizations such as the HBS Healthcare Industry Alumni Association, the Federation of American Hospitals, and the American Hospital Association.
