Mr. Buell’s duties as President include sales, project management, staff supervision, and bidding. In April 1997, Steve worked at multi-story hotel construction company KP Meiring Construction, where he served as the Project Manager. Mr. Buell supervised crews building hotels from start to finish all over the Unites States, while communicating with the office in Indianapolis, Indiana. Buell also maintained adherence to safety practices and coordinated weekly meetings and monthly draw requests. By the time Buell left KP Meiring Construction, the company had finished Marriott and La Quinta hotels in Ohio and Florida. About one year after Steve founded Buell Constructors, Inc., in September of 2004, Steve and Kara Buell adopted a Labrador-Mastiff mix rescued from an abusive home. Previously called Buddy, Steve and Kara changed the dog’s name to Tug because of his ability to overcome what he had been through.
