Sherman Mack

A lifelong resident of Louisiana, Sherman Mack enrolled at Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana, after graduating from Holden High School. Mack attended the University on a basketball scholarship, graduating in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in Historical Studies. He then matriculated at the institution’s law school to pursue a Juris Doctor. Following commencement in 1999, Mack served a clerkship under Judge Brenda Bedsole Ricks and Judge Wayne Ray Chutz of the 21st Judicial District Court.

With his clerkship complete, Sherman Mack established his own legal firm in his hometown of Albany, Louisiana. His firm continues to serve the 21st District, which includes St. Helena, Livingston, and Tangipahoa Parishes. Over the past decade, The Mack Law Firm has expanded, now employing a team of five highly qualified attorneys as well as a dedicated support staff. To better serve clients, Mack extended operations to an office in Tangipahoa Parish. Possessing varied experience with personal injury cases, family law, civil matters, and criminal litigation, Mack and his team offer a wide array of legal services.

Aside from his legal practice, Sherman Mack contributes to the local community as a Deacon at Bethlehem Baptist Church. A father of two, he also serves as a Sunday School Teacher for high school-age boys. In addition, he utilizes his basketball skills to coach young athletes throughout the area.
