SAMUEL HOANG LLC helps companies formulate meaningful design strategies while crafting compelling and engaging user experiences for consumer electronics, mobile devices, software applications, and environments. Its founder, Samuel Hoang, was formerly the Interaction Design Manager at Teague, where he worked for over 5 years on dozens of next generation consumer electronics products before leaving to start his design practice. Prior to working at Teague, Sam was a Senior Interaction Designer at Fitch and an Interaction Designer at Philips Design. His love of interaction design started when he was 6 years old, programming video games in BASIC on his older brother's TI-99/4A home computer. His interest in design led him to complete a Bachelors Degree, summa cum laude majoring in Architecture at Georgia Tech and a Master of Architecture degree at MIT. The sleep-deprivation experiments conducted under these two institutions engrained in Sam a deep respect for the craft of design, which he takes seriously in his interaction design work today.
