Romie Jean-Charles
A sales professional with an award-winning history, Romie Jean-Charles presently serves as a Manager for Internal Accounts Representative with Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Baltimore, Maryland. She handles all marketing initiatives and special projects. She also leads new hires through internal sales training. In order to accelerate company growth in lower-volume client base, Romie Jean-Charles develops strategies and opportunities. Jean-Charles also focuses on keeping customers satisfied through the quick resolution of any problems relating to sales or service. Finally, she ensures that her division stays above the budget.
Prior to her current role, Romie Jean-Charles held a position with the Northern Virginia branch of Quest Diagnostics. She managed the territory by forming and nurturing relationships with clients, including physicians and medical specialists. Despite her flourishing career in sales, Romie Jean-Charles first studied nursing at Hampton University in Virginia. With this educational background, she found employment as a Cardiac Care Technician at Phelps Memorial Hospital Center. She took this medical expertise to Wyeth Pharmaceuticals (now part of Pfizer Inc.) in Maryland, where she accepted the position of Territory Sales Representative. As one of a team of four, Romie Jean-Charles focused on meeting sales quotas and increasing market shares. She was successful at both and received awards for #1 Sales Performance in all three of her products. Jean-Charles ranked in the top 30 percent out of more than 200 sales associates in her region.
In her free time, Romie Jean-Charles enjoys staying fit by playing tennis and practicing yoga. She is an avid traveler and a supporter of The American National Red Cross.
