Robin Potera-Haskins

Robin Potera-Haskins, a women’s basketball coach with more than two decades of experience, currently serves as the Head Coach at Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon. Taking over in the spring of 2010, Robin Potera-Haskins led the Wildcats to a winning record in her first season. Participating in the Northwest Conference at the Division III level, the team finished with more than twice as many wins as the previous year. Before joining the Linfield staff, Robin Potera-Haskins spent three seasons at Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida. As the Head Coach of the Sailfish women’s basketball team and the school’s Assistant Athletic Director, she collaborated directly with the Athletic Director and played an integral role in all of the institution’s sports programs. Robin Potera-Haskins turned the Palm Beach Atlantic basketball team into a force at the Division II level, leading the Sailfish to the National Christian College Athletic Association championship game for the first time ever in 2009.

Throughout her career, Robin Potera-Haskins has coached at every level of high school and collegiate women’s basketball. From 2001 to 2004, she led the Montana State University squad that competed in the Big Sky Conference of NCAA Division I. The Bobcats made the post-season for the first time in a decade under Robin Potera-Haskins’ guidance and received votes for the national top 25 polls. During her tenure, Montana State University also beat perennial powerhouse Baylor and defeated rival The University of Montana two-thirds of the time.

Robin Potera-Haskins began coaching basketball at Stephen F. Austin State University in the mid-1980s, where she previously graduated with a Master of Arts in Physical Education. The first 16 years of Robin Potera-Haskins’ career were spent in the state of Texas, where she coached high school, NCAA Division II, and Division III. During this time, she volunteered with numerous basketball camps throughout the region, including the Dallas Mavericks Hoop Camps and Larry Johnson Basketball Camps.
