Robin Brooke achieved his international debut with New Zealand’s national rugby team on June 6, 1992. Quickly earning recognition as an integral member of the All Blacks, Robin Brooke significantly contributed to the success of the team over the next seven years. His participation with the All Blacks included playing in two Rugby World Cup tournaments with a total of 62 international games. Robin Brooke played his final international match on October 31, 1999. By that time, he had solidified his stature as a world-class player. Together with his brother Zinzan, Mr. Brooke notably contributed to the overall success of the All Blacks during the 1990s. His legacy includes breaking the record for the most appearances in a lineout partnership for the team. Born and raised in Warkworth, New Zealand, Robin Brooke attended Mahurangi College from 1978 to 1984. His early achievements included setting several school records for athletic events such as the shot put and discus throw. In 1984, Mr. Brooke participated on the national rugby team tour of the United Kingdom. Since retiring from his career as a professional athlete, Robin Brooke has pursued various business interests. Currently, he owns and operates New World Warkworth, a supermarket affiliated with Foodstuffs. His professional duties include managing daily operations while overseeing 200 company team members. Mr. Brooke previously owned New World Milford in Auckland, New Zealand, from 2003 to 2006 and New World Gate Pa in Tauranga, New Zealand, from 2006 to 2010. Active in his community, Robin Brooke serves as a board member for Duffy Books, an international charitable organization that annually donates 500,000 books to underprivileged schools in Homes, New Zealand. In his spare time, Robin Brooke enjoys skiing, golfing, playing rugby, and spending time with his family.
