Richard Trevino
Dr. Richard Trevino manages a private ear, nose and throat practice in San Jose, California. He has a 90 percent success rate in treating nasal polyps, blocked nasal passages, excessive postnasal drainage, nosebleeds, and other chronic nasal and sinus problems. Dr. Trevino treats many external, middle, and inner ear disorders, including otitis externa, ruptured eardrums, vertigo, tinnitus, and hearing loss. He performs rhinoplasty to remove tumors and growths. His practice also provides on-site allergy testing and treatment. In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Richard Trevino has devoted part of his career to teaching. He spent several years as a Professor at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, where he lectured on allergy immunology and head and neck surgery. Additionally, Dr. Richard Trevino taught Current Topics in ENT and Facial Plastic Surgery courses at the University of Chicago and an endoscopic sinus surgery course at the University of Monterrey Medical School in Mexico. Dr. Trevino has also served as a consultant to Stanford University and the University of Mississippi.
Dr. Richard Trevino earned a B.A. from St. Maryâs University in Texas and a M.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He belongs to several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, the Pan American Allergy Society, and the American Medical Association.
