Regal Energy, LLC.
Regal Energy, LLC, was founded in 2007 by business partners Chief Executive Officer, Brian Hardwick and President, Terry Gray. They bring extensive experience in the establishment of Regal Energy through their development of over 150 natural gas and oil wells within the Barnett Shale.
Dedicated to the extraction of fossil fuels, Regal Energy’s approach to obtaining these resources is guided by the results of scientific research. According to the United States Department of Energy, an estimated 44 trillion cubic feet of recoverable natural gas reserves exists within the Barnett Shale, one of the nation’s largest natural fields of unrefined gas located in North Texas. Regal Energy plans to play a significant role in its extraction for use in the United States’ expanding natural gas industry.
Regal Energy's team is comprised of highly trained and knowledgeable geologists, engineers, and consultants who perform under the direction of Mr. Hardwick and Mr. Gray. Regal Energy embraces state-of-the-art drilling technology to penetrate the reserves of natural gas and oil in the Barnett Shale that exist at a vertical depth between 6,000 and 10,000 feet. Regal Energy employs horizontal drilling within the shale strata to linearly access a greater amount of payzone. When coupled with hydraulic fracturing, which promotes the flow natural gas within the tight geological formation, horizontal drilling enables Regal Energy to achieve an enhanced retrieval rate of energy reserves. This type of drilling emerged in 2003 and has proven to be an advanced alternative to traditional, vertical drilling. Although it comes with a greater upfront cost for Regal Energy, its overall performance outweighs the extra expenses necessary to retrieve the natural gas and oil.
The importance of natural gas as an energy and material natural resource continues to increase in the United States as the availability of domestic oil costs rise and their resources dwindle. Regal Energy foresees that natural gas will one day emerge as a widespread resource for power and products across the globe. As of today, natural gas is already used to create plastics, fertilizers, and various chemicals.
