Randy Steinberg
A specialist in a strategic communications, Randy Steinberg currently works for The Valence Group, Inc. in Los Angeles. After gaining more than 15 years of experience in public relations, public affairs and marketing, Randy Steinberg formed The Valence Group in 2011 to provide clients with high-touch service in all facets of corporate communications. In his role as Principal of The Valence Group, he creates and executes PR, expert positioning, and public affairs strategy for the company's law firm, wealth management, and non-profit clients.
Prior to joining The Valence Group, Randy Steinberg served in Los Angeles Mayor Richard Riordan's Office of Economic Development, held management positions in a number of Los Angeles public relations firms, and was Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Cadforce, an architectural services company. During this period, Steinberg used traditional and social media to garner coverage for clients in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, and National Public Radio.
Randy Steinberg began his career in the nonprofit sector, working as the Assistant Director of the Los Angeles office of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). While there, he served as League spokesperson in national and local media and as liaison to supporters, elected officials and law enforcement agencies. Mr. Steinberg also planned and implemented extensive public awareness campaigns that promoted ADL and its mission.
Randy Steinberg graduated from Franklin and Marshall College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government. He also holds a Juris Doctor from Tulane Law School. In his free time, Steinberg serves on the Board of Directors of UCLA's Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation and volunteers for Bet Tzedek Legal Services' Conservatorship Clinic.
