As Chair of the Education Committee of the Eastern District of the Missouri Physical Therapy Association, Pradip Ghosh plays an active role in maintaining high standards of practice within his field. He also belongs to professional groups including the American Physical Therapy Association and the Indian Physiological Association. An educator and physical therapist holding more than 20 years of professional experience, Mr. Ghosh earned a Master of Science and a PhD in Physiology from the University of Calcutta, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from The Ohio State University. Upon receiving his doctorate, he obtained a string of research positions, including Rockefeller Foundation postdoctoral fellow in Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s Department of Physiology and research fellow/research scientist with The Ohio State University’s Department of Internal Medicine. The co-author of 41 abstracts and 43 peer-reviewed research papers, Pradip Ghosh also extended his insight to a chapter of Endocrinology & Metabolism, published by McGraw-Hill Publishing Company in 2001.

Outside of leading meaningful conversations with the larger medical community, Pradip Ghosh has enjoyed a long career as an instructor. The leader of continuing education courses through various venues, he sits at the helm of classes including Pharmacology: Its Impact in Both Physical and Occupational Therapy, Yoga and Meditation and Their Possible Use in Physical Therapy, and Evaluation and Treatment of Patients with Neurodegenerative and Demyelinating Disease. Currently an Associate Professor of Physical Therapy at Maryville University in St. Louis, Pradip Ghosh formerly taught students at schools including Maharaja Manindra Chandra College and City College of Calcutta, both in Kolkata, and The Ohio State University in Columbus. A resident of Chesterfield, Missouri, Mr. Ghosh maintains an active lifestyle through participation in games of tennis and cricket.
