Nick Spiridellis
Nikolaos Spiridellis has over 30 years of experience managing technologically innovative, high growth ventures. Establishing the New York-based consultancy Spiridellis & Associates, Inc. in 1974, Mr. Spiridellis grew the firm and its subsidiaries from minimal resources into an $18 million-a-year enterprise. His firm offered high level information technology consulting on IT-related corporate assignments, advanced technology programming and communications, and disaster recovery planning. These aspects of Spiridellis & Associates, Inc. operations were anchored by an extensive IBM mainframe facility, housing a variety of supporting minicomputers. Nikolaos Spiridellis sold his firm and affiliate offices in 1982 to Cap Gemini Sogeti. Mr. Spiridellis acquired back the technical training company CompEd in 1983. The firm was a pioneer in specialized training for data processing employees. In addition to launching the first PC training centers, his company offered PC training to Fortune 500 companies as well as to Los Alamos National Laboratory’s scientists over a period of several years. In 1986, Nikolaos Spiridellis founded Spiridellis Consulting Group, Inc., which he grew into an enterprise with $6 million in annual revenue within a span of 2 years. Merging his firm with the $80 million publicly traded company Raycomm Transworld Industries in 1988, he continued to oversee numerous subsidiary operations, retaining a role as Spiridellis Consulting Group, Inc. President until 1999. Mr. Spiridellis also maintained responsibility for all merger and acquisition operations. In this capacity, he utilized in-depth knowledge of legal issues, financial functions, partnerships, and budget-driven solutions. Continuing to innovate, Nikolaos Spiridellis developed Interactive Voice Response (IVR) technologies in the late 1980s. His VOISYS Systems Corporation products allow companies to gather, disseminate and process large amounts of data over the phone. The Company has serviced several thousand clients by providing simplified credit applications through its Loan-by-Phone™ hosted IVR Service. Mr. Spiridellis has also developed family-oriented emergency telephone communications networks as Founder and CEO of CONTACT-911, Inc. Another enterprise with which he is currently involved is Charitable Endeavors, LLC, which offers charitable organizations alternative financing routes through innovative financial programs. Nikolaos Spiridellis contributes to a number of nonprofit organizations, including the Kids Charity of Tampa Bay, and the Shriners Hospital for Children.
